This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of Klyssa, provided by Petran Laurentiu PFA, and is part of our Terms of Service. It exists to make clear that, while Klyssa gives you powerful editing and AI tools, what you do with them is your responsibility.
1. Your Responsibility
Klyssa is a local-first editor. We do not host, review, monitor, or moderate the content you create or export. We are not the author, publisher, or distributor of your content, and we do not endorse it.
You are solely and fully responsible for everything you create, edit, export, publish, distribute or monetize using Klyssa, and for the consequences of doing so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petran Laurentiu PFA is not responsible or liable for how you use the Service or for any content you produce with it.
2. Rights & Permissions
You represent and warrant that, for everything you use in Klyssa, you hold all necessary rights, licenses, consents and permissions. This includes:
- footage, photos, and audio you import;
- music, sound effects, fonts, logos, trademarks and brand assets;
- the name, image, voice or likeness of any identifiable person;
- any third-party, stock, AI-generated or licensed materials, in accordance with their license terms.
3. Prohibited Content & Conduct
You must not use Klyssa to create, edit, store, or distribute content, or to engage in conduct, that:
- is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, under any law applicable to you;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors, or constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — strictly prohibited with zero tolerance;
- is non-consensual intimate imagery, or is a deceptive or harmful deepfake or impersonation intended to defraud, defame, or mislead;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or incites violence or discrimination;
- contains malware, or is used to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- constitutes fraud, scams, deceptive advertising, or election or public-health disinformation prohibited by law.
4. AI-Specific Rules
When using Klyssa's AI features, you must also not:
- generate content prohibited by Section 3 above, or by the policies of the underlying AI provider;
- create content designed to impersonate a real person without their consent, or to mislead people into believing AI-generated content is authentic where that would be unlawful or deceptive;
- attempt to bypass safety filters or misuse credits or API access.
You are responsible for reviewing AI output before you use it, and for complying with any disclosure obligations (for example, labeling synthetic media) that apply to you.
5. Third-Party Services
When you use integrated third-party services (such as GIPHY for stickers/GIFs, or AI providers like OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter), you must comply with their terms of service and content policies in addition to this AUP.
6. Enforcement
Because Klyssa is local-first, we generally cannot see your content. However, where we become aware of a violation of this AUP (for example, relating to your account, credits, or community reports), we may suspend or terminate your account or access to paid features, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities, as permitted by law and our Terms of Service.
