This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of Klyssa credits from Petran Laurentiu PFA. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Overview
The Klyssa editor is free. AI features can be powered by prepaid, pay-as-you-go Klyssa credits — there is no subscription. Purchases are processed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), which acts as our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller and handles payments, taxes and refunds in line with its Buyer Terms.
2. Credits Are Digital Content
Klyssa credits are digital content supplied to your account immediately after purchase and consumed as you use AI features. Once credits have been used, the corresponding amount is non-refundable, because the digital content has been supplied and consumed.
Where there is a genuine technical or billing problem (for example, credits were charged but not delivered, or duplicate charges), contact us and we will work with Polar to make it right.
3. EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, for digital content not supplied on a physical medium, this right does not apply once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights).
At checkout, by requesting immediate access to your credits and acknowledging this, you consent to immediate provision and accept that you lose the right of withdrawal for credits once they are made available. Any credits you have not yet used may still be eligible for a refund at our or Polar's discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a billing issue, email klyssa.app@gmail.com with your order details (the email used at checkout and the approximate date and amount). Refunds, where granted, are issued by Polar to your original payment method. Polar may also exercise discretion to grant refunds under its own terms.
5. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or remedies you have as a consumer under applicable law, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian consumer protection law. This policy applies in addition to those rights.
